Since my last few emails -- my hubby and I decided to wait until birth to find out the gender of our little one. I was having contractions 3 weeks ago and some other small problems that medication took care of. The Dr ordered another U/S to check the baby. The 1st one I had was at my 12 week appointment. No I am 31 weeks, and when we walked back in his room every thing was new--he had bought the new 3D U/S system. With the 12 week U/S photos (which I was happy with) I showed everyone and then filed it in the baby's keep sake box. This time was totally different !!! I have had the pic's for 2 weeks or so now and I keep the pic's in my purse 24/7. I can't dare file away my baby's face and not a whole bunch of lines. I pull it out and show everyone like if it was a regular photo. The 3D U/S was awesome--you can see a face, lips, and a little nose--everything almost. Compared to the old U/S pictures where you had to just make out the white lines. I would have been happy with the old U/S photos but this is awesome. In the office the Dr asked if we wanted to know the gender of the baby. At the same time -- My hubby said YES and I said NO. Right after we both at the same time -- I said YES and he said NO. Both the Dr and the nurse stopped what they were doing and looked at us all confussed. We couldn't wait even thow we only had 2 more months to go. How could the Dr ask We found out we are having a little girl (Our 2nd one and big sister's very happy!) If you haven't see the new 3D U/S you can email me and I will email you a copy. My docs office just got the new 3d machine too but the tech has not been back to show them how to sue that part. i would love one, they are awesome Congrats on your baby girl.
