Guest guest
Hey , I am SO sorry to hear all the trouble you are having with and his shots. I have to say that I agree with you about the night shots. You wouldn't want him to be afraid to go to sleep. If I was having all this trauma, I would think about stopping the shots for a month or two, and work with a therapist, on just getting him used to the process. Maybe help with desensitizing him? All this upset isn't doing either him, or you, any good emotionally. Could you check with the Dr, explain how much trouble you are having and ask if he could prescribe the " air injector " ? And possibly change to the regular Nutropin, just in case it is causing a burning reaction? If 's fear is needles, you could show him, ahead of time, that there are no needles. Use the cool click for play therapy daily. First, let him inspect the device, explain how it works, and when he's comfortable, let him shoot nothing on his leg, the maybe add sterile water, and let him shoot that? Maybe allowing him to have more control of the situation will help him feel like a " big boy " ? and help with his trauma?? I hope this helps. If nothing else, know that I'm thinking of you and that I'll be keeping you both in my prayers.
