Alice Larson ----- Original Message ----- "Hablamos Juntos" - "We Speak Together" http://www.hablamosjuntos.org/ , a project related to health access for the uninsured and underserved limited English proficient (LEP) populations funded by the Wood Foundation, and administered by the Tomás Policy Institute, an affiliated research unit of the University of Southern California, School of Policy, Planning and Development and of the Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy at Columbia University, will be convening two one day sessions for federal and state health program decision makers in May and June of 2005. The sessions will be geared towards those who are working on development /implementation of guidelines for translation services and those in a position to impact policy and implementation. Yolanda Partida, the Director of the National Program Office, is interested in getting lists of individuals who would be interested in attending. Please let me know if you or someone you know would be interested. I need a name, title and e-mail address and a short description of the policy, implementation work done related to LEP. Thanks.
