Guest guest
, It was my email about finally giving in and having someone come in and clean my home. Your post was very nice and made me look at the situation in a different light, one that gave me hope and told me to enjoy the extra time I had now that most of the cleaning stuff was being done by someone else. :-) I also wasn't doing a " good " job any longer, although I wanted to but no longer had the energy to do so. My husband saw it a long time ago, but I kept telling him I can do it, and then would work like a crazy idiot just to prove my point. Of course I was in bed for the next 3 days or more b/c of my stubbornness. <:-| I know that good housekeepers cost a lot of money. We are giving up some things so that we can afford the house cleaner I know in some states they have a program called " Independence Waiver Services " and this program has someone come into your home and evaluate how unable or disabled you are and then they decide if you qualify for someone to come in and help you with the housecleaning, bathing, cooking meals, grocery shopping, transportation to and from doctors appointments, etc... You might want to check to see if your state offers this service. I found out about this program while I was doing re-search for a member on the list who needed to find transportation to her doctors appointments. Thanks again for your kind words.
