Guest guest
Hi, I was given one of those CPAP machines that keep you breathing during the night, and it gives me the worst headache after about 3 hrs and I have to shut it off. No one understands why it doesn't help me. Adam <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< sgl1dayaat HFMito@...> wrote:Thanks Barbara. I too majored in voice for awhile and I can get through 2 songs on a good day. But then the rest of the day is spent on very little energy. My new dr gave me a breathing exercise machine to try, thinking this would be a good course of action. BAD idea. I tried once and went from feeling ok in one minutes to feeling like I had been hit with a mack truck. WHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hit and run. So I was honest and said, I cannot do the exercise thingie. It uses my energy in reserves. At least he understood and my pulmo I guess explained why I couldn't. I love to sing and try very hard to sing even a chorus, to keep my diaphram working. But its getting where I hum or mouthed the words... no more days of carefree singing....... I appreciate your words of hope. Have a good rest of the week. Ann
Guest guest
Adam It might be the head gear. Since my pressure was raised so much, I have to have the head gear tighter and it is giving me headaches. I am trying some other masks and head gear to see what will work the best. My head gears push on the back of my head just above the neck and the forehead piece pushed there as well. laurie > Hi, > > I was given one of those CPAP machines that keep you breathing during the night, and it gives me the worst headache after about 3 hrs and I have to shut it off. Guest guest
Adam- Have you ever tried a bipap machine? I have found that the bipap machine does help during crashes. I had been given a cpap as an interim device until my bipap machine was returned to me. The respiratory therapist said it was clearly not what i needed-cpap that is. Good luck... Thanks Barbara.
