Hi Everyone,

I have been so sick for about 3 weeks now....mostly just exhausted,

chills/fever and left sided flank and abdominal pain. My family dr

hospitalized me for 3 days to run testing..colonoscopy, ct and upper

gi series along with mega antibodics. scope was fine. ct they

weren't sure so they order upper gi. i see the dr on weds to get

the results of gi series, but she said she would call if there was

anything. was sent home with 2 different antibiotics; one twice a

day and the other 3 a day.......still not feeling well. same old

same old. felt okay in the hospital; other than the pressure pain.

starting to wonder if it isn't mito flaring up. feel okay upon

waking but as i move around i just really poop out!!!!!

oh the upper gi only took 30 minutes because it moved into the colon

so quick.

i saw a mito specialist 6 weeks ago, was to hear back in 3 weeks,

but they told me last week that they are just " insanely busy " !!

would be nice to know if mito was ruled in or out! My family dr

isn't familiar with mito and has been waitin for correspondence from

genetic clinic.

Anyways, i noticed small red circles of rashes last week on my

chest...now they are no longer red but scaly like dry skin but

lotion does not help them go away...any thoughts??? i remember the

nurse at the genetic clinic looking at white spots i have and

telling me that it is not mito related, but these are new and look

different. Does anyone know what the mito related rash look like?

thanks for any help or imput. i am just feeling so miserable and

just want answers.
