My dad was a NICU nurse and transfered to the ER because alot of the mothers did

not feel comfortable with a man there caring for babies. He said he was asked

over and over if he was gay....

I don't really understand that attitude. Why would he need to be gay to take

care of preemie and ill babies? My dad is a great nurse!

I had a male ob with my son and I now have another male ob after beginning this

pregnancy with a woman ob.

I will take my male ob any day over a woman ob. I have found them to be more

sympathetic and caring because they do not have my female parts.

Some of the women ob's have been like nazi drill seargents....telling me its not

that bad or back when they had their babies...blah blah blah. Or they may not

have even had babies yet and are young and in my opinion inexperienced and

stupid......and just damn cocky cause they have been to medical school.

This is just my humble opinion.....If men want to be here and chat about this

and that as long as they follow the same rules as the rest of us and are

respectful..........big whoopee. But honestly I don't know many men who would

want to be in a chat group with a bunch of pregnant women.
