I told my docs, all of them, before they even asked about it that i was NOT doing it and I did a fasting one instead, went and ate and did blood work again in 2 hours. So, my NP immediately concurred when I told her a gluc tolerance test would destroy me. Find a practitioner where there's mutual confidence. Can't blame you for being beyond frustrated! Like one of the pg books states, " You're putting both your life and the life of your precious unborn baby in their hands " .
