RH, I started with 25 mg and worked up. Yes, 100 mg is a high dose for

starting, IMO. That's why I use 25 mg tab, though they are more scarce than

the 100 mg. tab.

Sorry for the double post. I hit the send button before I answered.....argh.

My girls take 200 mg of riboflavin four times each

day. That is the only thing that helps keep their

headaches controlled. We used to use Twin Labs brand.

Now we use whatever brand is being covered by

Medicaid. I haven't noticed any difference from one

to another.

Hi RH,

I use the Vitamin Shoppe brand. I used the Twin Labs brand when I

first started taking the Vit.B2 but where I live the price is really

expensive, so I shopped around and am now taking the Vitamin Shoppe brand.

I take the capsules b/c the tablet form made me gag. :-( On the back

of my Vitamin Shoppe bottle of Vit. B2 under the supplement Facts it

says: Riboflavin (vitamin B2). 100mgs of B2 is 5882% of the Daily

Value. It contains NO Yeast, corn, wheat, sugar, salt, soy, dairy,

fish, preservatives. Artificial colors or flavors added.

I take them everyday to help control my headaches and migraines. I

take 200mg in the morning and 100 to 200 mgs. in the evening (amount

depends on how I feel). Dr. korson said I can increase to 600mgs. if

I need to.

I also know a few people who are on Vit.B2 and have what I call as

" Energy Surges " They take their Vit. B2 in the morning only.

If you continue to feel " jumpy " you might want to start taking it in

the morning.

Good Luck

Hugs,

Ann-Marie
