Guest guest
I would like to say " thanks " to those of you that replied to my various questions, it really helped out. However, I still had " a bee buzzing my bonnet " about the Claritin Reditabs--- so I called three different pharmacists -- one said that the Reditabs were gfcf but was unable to verify where the citric acid was derived from, and one suggested calling Schering Corp. itself to verify. So this afternoon I called Schering Corp. (908/298-4000 or 1-) and spoke with their drug information services and he said: " That they did not specifically test to make sure that the Reditabs were gfcf, and that they received the components from different companies and that these companies may change the way the components are processed without notifying them. For these reasons they cannot guarantee that the Claritin Reditab product was GFCF " . He also told me that the citric acid contained in the Reditab was derived from corn and that he was unsure where the mint flavoring came from. I hope that this helps, and I'm sorry if this causes mass confusion (a state in which I live these days). However, if someone decides to call to verify and they tell you different, please let me know. Glenda
