Hi everyone

My name is Jay im new here. i live in Australia and i am a Massage

Therapist in Sydney.

I am currently undertaking a research assignment on Talpies and the

effects massage has on the daily functions and if it frees movement

making life easier for all who live with it.

I have chosen this assignment as a close friend of mine has talipes

in both feet and hands, she is now 30 and living in a great deal of

pain. she has under gone 16 operations to date including wedge

tarsectomies, her hips being pinned and several Tibial Vein and

nerve adjustments. Her age and arthritis are now impinging upon her

and i would dearly like to help if i can..

What i am looking for is any research papers on the effects of

massage therapy on talpies. Im not looking to cure however i am

looking to ease my friends suffering and if it helps ease others too

i am more then willing to do what needs to be done. if anyone has

any articles or knows of research papers on this subject i would

really appreciate the heads up as to where i can find them as i

havent been able to find anything here as yet.
