Guest guest
The web site for the Peptizyde and HN-Zyme Prime digestive enzymes is www.houstonni.com or www.peptizyde.com There is general information, a FAQ section, and further contact information. The fellow who developed these, Devin Houston, also worked on SerenAid and is very knowledgeable and is happy to answer any questions. Warning: You will not get a pushy salesman and salespitch, just practical information. Enzymes are currently used as a supplement to the GFCF diet, as are many, many other things. I haven't heard of any two families that implement the diet in exactly the same way. Some work with chelation, some are heavy into vitamins, some are not, some need to watch out for corn, soy, phenols, etc., to others these are irrelevant. Some focus on language, some on digestion/bowel issues, some on academics. Some do 100% GFCF exclusively, others throw the kitchen sink at the problem, most are somewhere in the middle. If this list were limited to just those who are currently 100% GFCF only conversation and nothing else, we would have far, far fewer posters. If you have a system that has 100% recovered your child or yourself...GREAT! But we all know we each have to find our own system. And most people are posting here because they are still looking for the 100% recovery. I just skip over the stuff that doesn't apply to my family, but I certainly wouldn't want to deny that information, however petty and irrelevant it seems to me, to another family who may benefit even a little bit from it. I personally will refrain from overexhuberance on this subject on this board. I am 40 yrs old, PDD-NOS, SID, constant migraines, and have been dealing with this for longer than a lot of people have been alive. Both my boys also have this " challenge. " I would have LOVED to have the information that is currently out...the internet is making this possible. So, take what you need and leave the rest. If we did have one majic pill for everyone, we could just take it, be 100% cured and go on to other things. But in the meantime, we have to help each other as best we can. 9 Jordan 7, all PDD-NOS, SID
