Can I ask where you got those statistics about what are area worse then others? I am looking in Staten Island, NY because my sons dad lives there but I am worried about the recently closed Great kills Landfill. I can't seem to find statistics or info that might be helpful. I am worried about the water, soil and air. Where can I find such info? I don't want my son to be exposed to more harm.edie
Guest guest
Hi All! Has anyone seen the movie " Brokowhich " (sp?)? I'm reliving it! What a nightmare! It all started when the Dr. routinely ordered a hair analysis for my son with Asperger's. It revealed high levels of aluminum and uranium. I had the water tested and it came back fine. So, I had my other son tested to see if he also had high levels. I got the results yesterday. They are both high in aluminum and uranium. I talked to the owners of the local water shop about my water sample and they informed me that a couple, living a few houses down from us, had the water tested and it DOES have high levels of uranium! My sample wasn't accurate because it wasn't taken from an outside faucet (to circumvent the water softener) and it wasn't tested for 10 days after collection (it should be tested within 48hrs.). Anyway this couple invested thousands of dollars into a special purifier and then denied that anything was wrong with the water!!! I can only guess that since the woman is a teacher at the school here, she doesn't want her name involved, nor does she want people to start packing up and leaving -- she may be laid-off then. I also found out that the trains that run through town are carrying toxic chemicals! Moreover, they had a derailment a couple of years ago and had to evacuate nearby towns! We live about 2-3 miles from a power plant, and because of that ( I just discovered) our county is rated among the worst 20% in the entire US for chemical and air pollutants!!! We know a lot of people in this town, and everyone is always sick (or dying). We can't keep this a secret, and plan to spread the word. However, doing so will greatly hinder the sale of our house. So, would you all please pray that we can sell it QUICKLY and get out of here. Thank you all so much!!! Oh, by the way, we live in St. 's, Kansas --- don't move here!!!
