Guest guest
I just started the diet with my son a couple of weeks ago. Since he only ate yogourt, drank a little milk (at daycare),ate ice cream or cheese occasionally, I decided to go cold turkey and do both GF and CF together. I was at a prsentation a couple of nights ago, regarding the diet, and the presenter felt that it may be to difficult on the child's body (withdrawal type effects) to do both at once. She suggested that you start eliminating casein first, for about 3 weeks or more, then eliminating gluten. Has anyone else tried to do both together? Should I re-introduce gluten for a few weeks, then remove it again. Other that being really clingy, having temper tantrums (something he doen't usually have),crying ALOT and wanting to eat all the time!, he seems to be adapting well. He likes the rice bread substitutes, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Janice
