Guest guest
Has anyone used Dr. Jayukumar (or referred to as Dr. " J " )? He is in the Alfred I. DuPont Hospital in Wilmington, DE (http://www.nemours.org/internet?pid=3&cat=1) He says he used the Ponsetti technique, but did not have a reason as to why he is not on the list of certified Ponsetti doctors. Any reason I should be concerned about that?
Guest guest
RUN!!!! I took my son there. After 4 casts he was ready to do surgery. If you are in the land Delware VA area go to see Dr Herzenberg at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. He's TRUE Ponseti trained.! -------------- Original message -------------- Has anyone used Dr. Jayukumar (or referred to as Dr. " J " )? He is in the Alfred I. Guest guest
Just curious if you plan on having them treat your child? Run away....fast. I have alot to say about DuPont!!!!!!!!!! Worst treatment for CF! I am sure there are others who would agree. They do NOT follow the Ponseti Method. 10 castings an a tenotomy and no correction. They placed my daughter in shoes and said, " well that's the tricky part, keeping the shoes on " . That is so not the case if the FEET where CORRECTED in the first place. We saw 3 Doctors in 3 1/2 months. We made the trip to see Dr. Ponseti who corrected her feet in 4 castings. I hope he learned something from Dr. Ponseti when he saw him last November! I could really go on about this but I don't think Yahoo has enough space for me. Why don't you try doing a google search for clubfoot dupont and see what comes up. Guest guest
Oh My God I had not seen that website before. Our experience was similar with another doctor. (though Gwyneth did not have to have a second tenotomy) I read that website with my jaw dropped. What is wrong with these doctors?!?!? How is it possible that these doctors are allowed to continue to practice? Amy Re: Re: Anyone used Dr. Jayukumar? (Alfred I. Guest guest
No, it's not mine. (her website) is the one who confirmed the feelings I was having about Ava being treated inproperly at DuPont and of course for me finding this group. Guest guest
Hi I'm trying to get caught on posts and saw someone posted about Dupont, I didn't go all the way back yet to the first post, but just wanted to say we did start out there with Collin's treatment, see our website http://www.geocities.com/chele323232 My best advice is too run!!!!!! Dr. Jay lies, he does not use the Ponseti method no matter what he tells you! He told us that he used it to, but he deffiantly does his own thing. Please feel free to e- mail me personally, because it may take me a few weeks to get caught up here. Good Luck! Michele Yoder my email is chele323232@...
