RELIEF EFFORTS FOR KATRINA VICTIMS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS - September 2, 2005

TASH has put together the following information regarding efforts to assist

disability related organizations and individuals with disabilities and their

families in the Gulf States and the states receiving refugees from the storm

and floods. We will be updating this page with additional information as we

TASH joins the entire nation in expressing our sincere thoughts and prayers

for the safety and well-being of those individuals and families coping with

the aftermath of the Katrina tragedy, and with those who are working to

provide relief.

We also want to let you know about several fundraising efforts that have

been organized to assist disability related organizations and individuals

with disabilities and their families in the Gulf States and the states

receiving refugees from the storm and floods.

There are thousands of families who have just lost everything. Please know

that all of us at TASH and across the country hold the people affected by

this disaster in our hearts. Our heartfelt thoughts go out to all of our

members and others in the areas of the country so devastated by this

disaster. Let's do what we can to help.
