I have my daughter on this diet and she's not diagnosed autistic either. She

had a language delay (resolved!), severe sensory integration issues and

behavioral problems. She has been GFCF for about 9 months and has made great

progress - including toilet training! I think that many kids have the genetic

weakness that vaccines and antibiotics trigger issues - and that it can take

many forms, ADD, language delay, autism, etc. The problem is that the diet is

not well supported for non-autistic kids and that m;y last visit to my

pediatrician proves this. I brought in info from an autism conference to

support my decision on a blood draw for titers and allergy testing and she coded

our visit under a new diagnosis

of infantile autism. It took me 6 months to get the coding changed and we lost

our therapy referral for

OT as a result. Live and learn.

I agree that it is all a spectrum thing and your child just has a mild case,

not enough to qualify for autism, but enough to have alot of the

difficulties. Thank God it is helping. Good luck for the future.
