Guest guest
I have my daughter on this diet and she's not diagnosed autistic either. She had a language delay (resolved!), severe sensory integration issues and behavioral problems. She has been GFCF for about 9 months and has made great progress - including toilet training! I think that many kids have the genetic weakness that vaccines and antibiotics trigger issues - and that it can take many forms, ADD, language delay, autism, etc. The problem is that the diet is not well supported for non-autistic kids and that m;y last visit to my pediatrician proves this. I brought in info from an autism conference to support my decision on a blood draw for titers and allergy testing and she coded our visit under a new diagnosis of infantile autism. It took me 6 months to get the coding changed and we lost our therapy referral for OT as a result. Live and learn. Kathy
Guest guest
I agree that it is all a spectrum thing and your child just has a mild case, not enough to qualify for autism, but enough to have alot of the difficulties. Thank God it is helping. Good luck for the future. Phyllis To re diet for kids not autistic > I have my daughter on this diet and she's not diagnosed autistic either.
