Guest guest
Howdy to all! I just wanted to say " Thank You " to all the wonderful people who responded so quickly to my " cyber scream " for help. I am not panicing...much. You see, now that I have this little piece of information, I see it in his walking. There is a slight limp. The left shoulder drops further down when he toddles about. Then again, I may be in an induced state of anxiety and making a mountain out of a mole hill. I called our P.T. who has been working with Connor now for 7 months and she is going to do some measurements and really, really study his gait, and posture. If she detects something too, then we will get an Ortho Pede appt. Like they say, an ounce of prevention now will really help further down the road. On the bright side, his ciphosis seems to be improving with crawling and walking. Oh, some good news. Connor's weigh in was 15 lbs 4 oz's. That's the best weight gain we've ever seen in him. On October 31 he was 13lbs 15 oz's. And to think my old pediatrician didn't want me to see the pediatric G.I. specialist...go figure. The g.i. guy was the one who helped him gain the weight with a diet change and periactin routine. So, I guess this is just another lesson in How to be proactive, persistent and down right pesky when it comes to the medical care for my son. Panic not included. Mudslide soon to commence when my girlfriends show up with the pizza. Take Care you all, Kearns Mother to Graham 7; Cameron 4; Connor 15 months; SGA/RSS? IUGR Zantac, Periactin.
