You should refuse the test and have them do something different. The glucola

would probably make you very sick, exspecially since you do not eat any sugars

at all. i did a fasting blood test, was sent to eat breakfast then come back

in 2 hours for another blood draw and that was it and my sugars were fine. I

refused the glucola and the docs were okay with that and understood.

I'm new to this site but had WLS 2 1/2 years ago. My weight started

at 300 lbs and I lost 150 lbs the first year and kept it off for over

a year. I'm now 5mo. pregnant and should be taking the sugar test on

my next OB appointment. I don't eat sugar (not even a little) and am

not sure if I should take the test. What did everyone else do? Is

there a different test I can take?

Thanks,

Dawn
