Results of Ultrasound this morning...

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to tell about my ultrasound this morning! I am 27 weeks and had

another u/s to check the placenta today; it was covering my cervix at 18 weeks

and they wanted to make sure it moved up or else I would then be diagnosed with

Placenta Previa. I am happy to report that it has moved and everything looks

great. I tried not to worry about it but as most of you mother's or

mother's-to-be know, it is in the back of your mind no matter how hard to try

not to think about it. We already knew he was a boy from a previous u/s but

today the little guy weighed in at 2 pounds, 10 ounces and he is 17 inches long

already. Can that be right (the inches?) The tech said that he is measuring

about 6 days early and is in the 65 percentile for weight. We got some great

face shots of him; he looked more like a baby this time than the typical " alien "

pictures I have gotten in the past! LOL

I just cannot wait for him to get here! I have been washing baby clothes that I

have received already, I cannot help it as I am so excited. We are also in the

process of building a house and I know that I should be doing what I can now as

I won't be able to do much as this pregnancy gets closer to the end!! I am a

bit stressed out about our closing-- it is August 12th and the baby is due

August 22nd. Funny thing is that with building, there are delays no matter what

but also with the baby it comes when it is ready so I feel that neither one of

these dates is firm! LOL Oh, did I tell you that I am getting married between

all of this, too? Nothing like doing it all at the same time... I am experience

just a little change in my life at the moment!!
