Guest guest
- I just wanted you to know that I made an appt with Dr. Wilner for next week; thank you so much for the recommendation. I figure if nothing else, she'll be able to allay some of my fears and be realistic about what syndromes, dysplasias, etc. may or may not fit my baby's slow growth pattern. It's funny that you mentioned waiting to deliver your son till 38 weeks. I've recently been thinking about that myself; I was wondering how my peri/ob will make the call about delivering early since the growth is so off (I'm 30 weeks today). I also feel that right now the baby is doing better in there than she would out here. I truly believe her growth issues are genetic rather than environmental, and I don't want to add the problems of a preemie to the mix if it isn't truly necessary. How far behind was Jonah at 38 weeks? Did the growth slow more the farther along you got? How did your peri/ob know to wait that long and not blame his growth issues on environmental causes? Was it just a matter of continuous BPPs and NSTs? Thanks again, > , > I don't mind your questions at all. I know exactly what you are going > through as I was so fearful of the unknown as well.
