hi everyone!

i have a question that might sound strange, but i have talk to two

others that have noticed the same thing and none of us know why.

christophers urine seems to smell strong. jodi R and i were talking

on the phone about this this morning and andrews does too. i also

mention it to chrissy and madison has the same problem. does anyone

know why, if there is a reason. does it have anything to do with

keatons? does anyone else notice this with their child? i am going

to ask the endo when i go but i figured i would ask here as well.

I have noticed this with ! I have also noticed that in the

morning, his breath is like a dragon's. I have never noticed a baby

with bad breath before. I planned to mention it to the

endocrinologist we will be seeing next week. I hope that goes better

than the visit to the Geneticist did.

it is only my thoughts although i dont have this problem with my child:

1.when we dont drink enought water the urine become too concentrate and has

a very strong smell.

2.if you give some extra vitamins ,so the smell of vit.b can make also a

Hi:-)

I am going to answer the strong urine e-mail because when I was in NY last

year in Oct I asked Dr H about Janelle's urine odor. It did not happen all

the time but I would have to saw pretty frequently and the only way I could

describe it is it was like she ate asparagus. Do any of you know what I am

talking about? Dr H said no one had mentioned it before and did not seem to

think it was a problem. It probably isn't but what does it mean?

Hi

Liam always had strong smelling urine, until we started adding water

boluses. I think because of the concentrated formula our kids are on

and the fact they sweat so much, it is quite easy for them to become

dehydrated.

We also found after adding water we had alot more wet(soaked) nappies

and alot less constipation problems.

Good luck

Jody( mum to Liam )
