Hi,

I can completely relate to your feelings. I am 10

weeks along with my 2nd child. When I was PG

w/Isabella, I was 330 and gained 35lbs - 20 more than

my doctor wanted me to!! This time around I was 250

when I got pg - just a note, I was 13 months out and

had lost 125 lbs - this time. It is astounding to me

how hungry I am almost ALL of the time, I eat every

few hours and have, LITERALLY, been woken up in the

middle of the night with hunger pains!! But here is

the really shocking part - keeping in mind that I am

famished for what feels like 90% of my day, I have

lost 7 lbs in the last 4 weeks.

I am a bit concerned over how much I am eating & I am

so tired that I can barely get through the day without

a nap. I am hopeful that I will continue to choose

foods that are healthy for me and the baby - at the

moment, I am confident that I will get through this

pregnancy relatively unscathed...but, that can change

at any minute...I am sure I will be writing again as

soon as I have to start buying maternity clothes and

" granny " underpants :0)

I guess what I want to say is to definitely be aware

of what you are putting in your mouth, BUT try to keep

in mind that your body is burning so much energy

making this baby that it needs those few extra

calories to get through the day...

When you are feeling especially vulnerable or 'fat'

just jump on line and write...or call - if you need a

sounding board, just let me know...I would certainly

be willing to give you my number.

Lynne
