Guest guest
I'm home from the hospital. Byers (I suppose it's time for me to change my name to match my husband's) was born by urgent C-section May 20. She was only 8 days early, but was very small... 5'14 oz. I'm wondering how some of the other post gastric babies were? I think mine was only small because I had a small placenta. I was a roux-en-y, so I get all my nutrition... took 2 prenatal vitamins per day... and gained 40 pounds. I've only lost 2 pounds because my feet are as big as footballs right now. Luckily, my appetite has gone... I'm having an OK time nursing (had a boob lift after I lost my weight) and the C-section was nothing compared to the abdominoplasty I had done a while ago. Labor was awful... but her cord was around her head, and HR was dropping with each contraction. They took her and she was absolutely perfect. So, if anybody has any other input to birthweights. I thought the recent babies were all of a good size. Just checking.
