Guest guest
Thanks for the info. I just ordered the prenatals online and was wondering if I should open the capsules and mix it with food or can I just swallow the capsule. I had RNY 10/1/03. I heard capsules don't dissolve in our pouch, they just go right through without absorbtion. Also, do you take the twin lab calcium wafers? Thanks for you help, > > Hi . Guest guest
Hi :-) My 2 year post op labs(3 months ago) were in range. I'm a proximal, 100 cm RNY, so apparently, my system assimilates chewables & small tablets & capsules. Have you had any recent bloodwork? Yes, the wafers, they're kinda like SweetTarts, are pretty good. You're on the right track, according to the medical lit, calcium citrate is the way to go.
