Guest guest
I lost a quick 10 lbs in my first couple months of pg. I was so sick and the smells and looks of food disgusted me so that all I could literally stomach were oyster crackers... they are small and I could concentrate on just one little bite at a time. Almost anything else I put in my mouth, when I felt like putting something in, came right back out. I just thought I was in for a rough 1st trimester. Then at 20 weeks, much further into my pregnancy than most, we found out we were having twins. Well... that explained my aversion to food, my extreme fatigue, and my early belly growth. Well, we're in our 30th week now and everything is going wonderfully... food is back and looking and tasting FANTASTIC to me these days, lol. I have finally gained 5 lbs and the babies have been growing well all along. My doc has instructed me to drink at least 2 protein drinks each day and to eat whenever I possibly can because it seems as tho, in his words, the babies are " hogging the groceries. " All along his concerns were more about me being left deficient since it seemed as if the babies are getting everything they need. Do what you can to get in your nutrition, even if it does entail protein drinks and a bit of junk food. Try to concentrate on the good but if, for the moment, if all you can get in is certain things, don't feel bad about it. Best of luck, Toi > For those of you that read my earlier post; I've been having a hard > time eating anything.
