's post regarding confirming information

I just wanted to thank for the polite reminder to all of us to

double-check ourselves before posting.

The " heads-up " type messages from people are definately valuable, but

it would be really helpful if the post would clearly state whether

the information has been confirmed with the manufacturer, or if the

poster is still in the process of doing that and just alerting us to

a possible problem.

I appreciate both types of information, it just saves everybody a lot

of time, as well as preserves the credibility of the information on

this list, if it is clearly indicated whether the info has been

confirmed yet or not.

Thanks again for the reminder , I needed it too! And no, I'm

certainly not going to yell at you for that bit of common sense you

posted!
