Ann,

I'm glad that you had a good appointment with your new int met

dr. It sounds like he is going to be proactive fore you, which is very

important. I am glad he will be drawing up a protocol letter for you.

Smiles,

Hi Ann,

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but what are " all the

strokelike symptoms " ? I have stroke-like and seizure-like episodes,

not as frequently as before changing supplements, but once in a

while. Most of mine do not have loss of speech, but some do.

What might be the significance of a " full " versus " partial "

strokelike episode, I haven't heard that terminology. For seizures,

I've heard of partial and complex, but I'm not sure if I know what

they mean exactly.

Take care,

RH

approach, rather than a wait and see method like some drs I have seen.

Whenever I go back to the ER, there will be specific instructions for

my care.

Usually strokelike episodes are common with my crashes, but somehow

its entrance was delayed. I find this odd.

Hi RH-

I use the term " full " (not a technical term I don't think) to refer to all my

normal symptoms associated with SLE.

For me, A normal SLE consists of:

slurred speech

state of confusion

loss of memory

instant fatigue

tremors in my head-feels like my brain is sloshing around.

stinging on the brain

loss of coordination

weakness

may also have numbness or tingling too

I didn't mean to confuse any of you. And I by no means think there is anything

" normal " about having a SLE.

Okay, so you are like me in that you have one or more symptoms with

SLEs, but only infrequently have " all " of the symptoms?

Thanks,

RH
