Guest guest Posted November 19, 2001 Report Share Posted November 19, 2001 Glenda, Thanks for checking too. My parents just left my house and are on there way to Houston TX for a doctor visit. The doctor might put her in the hospital there, so she was kissing me bye. I really don't know to say if she is better, or just trying to get back to normal. What is normal???? (ha ha) But I am glad to see her out of ICU, and now we will try to see if there something they can try different on her medication. I just want her to breath better, I can't stand watching her struggle to breath. It really scares me!!!! But my ear is doing better...... now that my Mom is out of the hospital I can start to take better care of myself. My ear seemed so minor compared to my Mom's stuff. I had my stiches taken out on the outside, but have to wait to have the packing & stiches inside taken out later. I was crying so hard at night when Mom was in the hospital, that it didn't help the healing process inside. So I go tomorrow to see what I have to do. What the funny part is my husband washing my hair. I can't wash it alone, so he does it. He has so much fun making a mess & torturing me with all his hair styles when the shampoo is in my hair. He is a great guy and thank God everyday for him. He is such a cutie!!! Well I will write later.......just wanted to Thank You for the thoughts & prayers. Plus off to the hospital again my best friend's Dad got in a motorcycle accident last night. And they have him in a trauma unit local, so I am going to go be with her. It seems like one thing after another here. But take care, and will talk soon. I saw Dawn's Mom in the picture, she is so cute. I need to send some pictures of us too. I was wondering how things were going with you and your Mom. How is your ear doing? I hope it is healing. Glad you are going to nag your Mom about a medic Alert bracelet. They are the greatest when it comes to people like us or anyone with an illness or on medications. will ask you again I am sure. She keeps pestering everybody when it comes to getting one. My Mom is doing better, and she is leaving to go to the hospital in Houston TX tomorrow. It is 1 1/2 hrs from here, and my Dad took a week vacation. So with my Dad there she is going to be in good hands. Plus her doctor is there, and it will be better instead orders over the phone. I will be praying for you, I hope that there is nothing in your airways. I hate watching Mom struggle to breath. Do you have trouble breathing??? I hope you feel ok, and will be thinking & praying for you. I will be waiting to hear your results. Also I am getting my Mom a medical bracelet too. I read your response on it.....I didn't even think about one for her. Now she will have me nagging to her about getting one. Where does " peedie " come from? Is is from the Gaelic? I also have friends on Arran but that's not so much a ish island, more a suburb of Glasgow : ').
