Guest guest
There are issues that young parents face that older parents do not (Brittany and others have talked about how doctors tend to not listen to you as much, etc). Brittany says for you to email her anytime, and she would be happy to talk with you. Her email address is (and I am putting a space after the @ sound so that the whole address will show in the email)... dbkunz3@ grandecom.net. But don't type the space when you are actually sending the email. Good luck!!! Stay in touch. I must have missed this thread...I have had this problem as well. I am only 24, and I feel like my concerns are dismissed because of my age/appearance too. (I don't look like your typical " mom " ) It is hard for younger mom's to be taken seriously when dealing with such serious issues. But, hey, not everyone acts their age! It can go both ways... It's a hassle, but I know that it's an issue (sometimes) so I just go in with a strong head and ignore their first impression of me. Guest guest
Dawn (Ken, can you make sure she gets this??) There is another amazing young mother of an RSS daughter, Savannah. Mom's name is Brittany and she and her husband had their daughter when Brittany was just 20 years old. These two young parents are so dedicated to their child, that when I met them I simply was stunned at how mature they were for their age. I can tell you that there is no way in heck I could do what they are doing at their age.
