Guest guest
, Colby seems to be just a little behind Max when Max was 13. Dr. H. then and now still says that Max will be 5'6 " " if (she) has anything to say about it. " At Max's current growth rate, it is 5.9cm/year. She says that is good, so I will believe her. Does Colby sound like he is growing at about this rate, too? I just find it hard to believe that Max will be 5'6 " when he is almost 16 and just barely over 5'. If Colby has established a good, consistent growth curve, then I would assume that he will continue on it for now. I don't know when puberty starts for boys. It is more subtle than it is for girls. I also believe that it goes on for a longer period of time. BUT you have to keep an eye on the bone age, too. It can suddenly advance and, without intervention to stop or delay it, then growth can suddenly cease. Does this make sense? Jodi Z.
