Dr. H visits at convention/scholarships

Everyone -

For those of you planning on going to the MAGIC convention, please

be aware that is has become clear that we will not be able to fit

everyone in to see Dr. Harbison. Last year, by literally working

from 9am - 11pm every day, we saw 75-80 families. But due to her

changing hospitals, she is referring more and more families to the

convention. We are hoping to open up TUESDAY prior to the

convention for visits, for all local families. Allowing other

families to fly in early on Wed for visits.

So... why am I writing? If you are planning on attending and want

to see Dr. H, do NOT delay in mailing in your convention

registration. We can NOT reserve a Dr. H visit until a) you

register for the convention with MAGIC; MAGIC mails you a 2-pg

questionnaire that you fill out; and c) I receive said questionnaire

in the mail from you.

I will do my best as always (last year only 3 last minute families

couldn't be seen) to fit in as many people as possible. But if you

all can do your part by registering earlier than later, it would

help greatly.

SCHOLARSHIPS STILL AVAILABLE. Thanks to fundraisers like

Callahan's and Kearns, we are now able to offer additional

scholarships to first-time families who have never come to the

convention before. The scholarship covers your hotel for 3 nights

and all your registration fees (includes childcare, two dinners).
