We never could find a replacement for cheese and LJ just got use to doing

without, and he use to LOVE cheese. Ghee we will not use - as a butter

replacement I use Spectrums shortening and just sparingly put it on his

toast when needed. And it is good for baking and frying. Coconut butter

was ALOT more money and I haven't used it yet, it is here though. No, it

doesn't taste like coconut but it does have to be refrigerated once

opened and then it is extremely hard. The Spectrum shortening stays out

at room temp. Instead of ice cream I get GFCF sorbet - no arttificial

colors either.
