Tongue weakness/atrophy, speech or swallowing problems?

When I asked about tongue weakness and atrophy being associated with Mito don't

believe anyone wrote that they have either of these. Can I infer that Mito

rarely if ever causes problems like tongue atrophy, tongue weakness, speech

problems, e.g. slurring (often due to weak tongue and other muscles) or

swallowing problems? I ask because latest neurologist thinks I have a mild form

of Mito, yet I'm having these problems and think tongue atrophy possibly as

well. Also, anyone have weakness of posterior neck muscles (difficult keeping

head up)?

Thanks,

Randall
