Guest guest
Hey everyone, I haven't posted in awhile, so here I am!!! I had RNY April 10, 2002, started at 325, and got down to 150-155ish. I am now 22 weeks pregnant with my second son. My first son was born November 27, 2000. This is definitely a different pregnancy. First one, I didn't start to gain any weight until 7 months, and presently I have already gained 22! What's weird to me though, is I don't show all that much. I feel like I just look like I gained weight. And it's all in my boobs and butt. Hubby likes that, of course. It worries me though because I hear a lot of you talking about only gaining 5 pounds by 22 weeks. I hope this weight comes off fairly quickly, because I am supposed to have my tummy tuck before Christmas 2004, and I am due September 23rd. I am hoping that this baby will nurse a little more easily, as that will help the weight come off. I did try to nurse my first baby, but he was in NICU, and he was given formula when I wasn't around, so he never latched on, and I was too distraught to let him suffer. This time, I am going to try really hard to nurse for at least a couple of months, maybe three. Certainly can't hurt... Anyway, just thought I would update everyone as to where I have been, not that there aren't plenty of great posts here to read anyway. Just felt like saying hello!!! nancy in western ma 323/155 5'8 " Mommy to Caleb, 3 1/2 and , edd 9/23/04. Wife to Ray since 1996. Go Yankees!!!
