Guest guest
I don't know if this is related to food allergies or sensitivities, but my son has always had a huge belly. If any of you remember pictures of the Ethipian famine, it looks like that; skinny arms and legs and a huge pot belly, perfectly rounded and firm. I wondered if it was malnutrition or something, but the doctors said no. I have noticed, though, that since going gfcf, his belly has been a teeny bit less distended. We're still not in complete compliance, since we share a kitchen with non-gfcf cooking and his school isn't complying (feeding him chocolate for easter but still swearing they're watching his diet like hawks). I guess what I'm asking is if anyone else's kid has the Buddha belly and whether it's related to the gluten and casein intolerances or maybe yeast? --Sharlene
