Guest guest
Hi, I haven't been posting for about six mo. We started the diet imediatly after reading an article in FEB.2000. Since then it has been like a roller coaster of bad news, -sometimes I feel like the crazy person who thinks the government is out to get us - LOL:). Anyway, my autistic son has made a-lot of improvements, but we are kind of wondering what to do next. Currently he is totaly Gf/Cf and taking super-nu thera with p5p, yeast control powder, super cranberry extract, pro-bio gold, l-glutamine, (all from kirkman's) also he is taking nystatin powder and Zyrtec, and we have been giving him fish oil concentrate for almost two weeks-it seems to make them callmer. Oh yeah, I might also mention our 3 year old( who everyone has been unable to diagnose what his problem is- except that he is definatly not autistic-??) is also on all of the above. Ok, My three year old has had nasty diapers that smelled like alchol, so I am asuming that this was die-off, ther was not any foaming that I saw though.(COMENTS?) My autistic son (Age 5) has been on Nystatin for a lot longer like 6mo. and I have yet to see a die-off, But when I take him off of it his symptoms worsen, and he can't sleep. Should I ask for diflican instead? (Help Please)I should also mention they were on a no sugar diet for 4mo. and have recently been alowed small amounts once in a while. And my 5year old WILL NOT EAT MEAT or most vegys so he does eat mostly carbs. We tried DMG with no aparent success, but any suggestions are Welcome! Also, If any one has any info on processing disorders I would apretiate it as that is the only thing that has been mentioned as a possibility for my 3yr. old. -Thanks- Debbie B.
