Guest guest
Hi , Just wanted to say that your son would not be the first to starve himself. Before SCD, my son would too! He is 3 y 5 m old and is the average height of a 27 month old and average weight of a 15 month old. Our first 6 weeks were REALLY hard, but know he eats an average of 300-500 more calories a day compared to pre-SCD. He still hasn't gained any weight since last May...not an ounce, but has grown in height on a very fast rate in the last 3 months. I KNOW we are on the right path with SCD for his growth and eating so I would assume the same for you. The key is to keep problem solving to figure out what foods might be bothering him. Feel free to contact me off list because boy have I been there! At the same point too. We started the diet when Elijah was turning 3. Take care, Elijah 3.5 ASD, leaky-gut a 2 All SCD 5 months Wow, am I behind on my e-mails! He just turned 3, but is the size of an average 18 month old. We have learned that you can't make a child to eat something. They say that no child will starve themselves, but I think he might be the first to try Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks, Isaac (3) constipation, yeast SCD 3 weeks --------------------------------- Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. PC-to-Phone calls for ridiculously low rates.
