Listmates,

What do you do to combat acid reflux? I have been

having sour stomach and throat lately. No change in

my current diet, which is not completely scd. My

austistic son and nt daughter are scd but I am not

100% scd.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you,

son 4.5 asd scd 1.7 years

daughter 6

Don't eat a few hours before going to sleep and sleep with your head

elevated. Then, get it checked out. Take care, Fay

One more choice...along with Fays advice, go 100% SCD, it is benefiting all of

us...it may benefit you too...especially with the acid reflux (GERD/

gastro-esophageal reflux disease)...I use to have it and so did our daughter .

(meds never helped either of us much!)....and the surgery to correct it is not

worth it, in light of this SCDdiet taking it away in most of us with this

problem........it is gone now (but we still don't eat much foods with the tomato

in it, or citrus fruits. Since your kids are already 100% SCD......IT IS WORTH

A TRY (it will be worth the sacrifice believe me...reflux is miserable!...I

know!)......FOOD FOR THOUGHT!

Antoinette (day 31 entire family SCDIET and healing/Celiac, DH, ADHD, ADD, ASD,

daughter and me both had reflux, IBS and so much more, healing and life becoming

much easier...day by day)
