Guest guest
I have not been reading all of the posts over the last few months, and am about to re-embark on my insurance battle with Blue Cross of Alabama. I originally applied for surgery one year ago, but have been denied twice because they say that I have not been twice my body weight for the last two years. Now that another year has past, I feel that they will have to reconsider(I know that the Standard of Care says that I only need to be 100 pounds overweight, but I have had no luck fighting the insurance company on that ground). Also, I have just been formally diagnosed with SLEEP APENEA and am now on c-pap. I am praying that this will be the determining factor in my quest for approval. I understand that sleep apenea is taken quite seriously with Blue Cross. They have paid the entire 1500.00 that the testing cost. Please let me know how your battles with the Alabama Blue Cross insurance company are progressing. Thanks, Stormy ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
