TeacherGator@... Regarding the food intake after surgery, I am a

pre-op so I can't give you 1st hand knoweldge, but most of the post-ops have

said they don't even CARE about the food>>>>>>

That is so true for me. I am just over 4 months post-op and have gone from

a fast-food/pepsi junkie to a " fruitie " kindda gal. LOL I still like food

and can eat just about anything, but without all the cravings I can make

healthier choices now. I feel like I am eating to live, rather then living

to eat. And it feels good. :)

<<<<<<I get more and more nervous of the SURGICAL part of it! I am TERRIFIED

with a huge phobia of needles and blood - but I am so emotionally ready for

this, that I am able to calm myself down>>>>>>>>

I felt the same way, . I hate needles and had never even been in a

hospital or had an IV. It turned out to be so simple that I am still

amazed. Even the IV was easy. They had it in before I even knew they were

gonna start it. Getting the staples out was even a piece of cake! I'm

embarrassed now that I was so scared. You can do it!

Good luck to all, and have fun.
