Guest guest
My supporting physician suggested I check to see that Dr. Rutledge is a member in good standing with the North Carolina Medical Society and the North Carolina licensing board. After 7 months reading the posts I feel pretty comfortable but it does seem wise to do this since I am an out-of-state person. I know that there have been others who have been quite thorough and I was wondering if anyone else has already done this. Also, can anyone tell me how to find out how to contact the Society and Board? I saw Ginny's post about the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons but I don't recall anything on the North Carolina groups. Thanks for any help, in land
Guest guest
Hi : If I remember correctly there is a site for F.A.C.S. Try doing a search on that. I believe you could look up individual doctors on that site. Good luck! Guest guest
- You can check to see if these organizations have web sites. If so, there will probably be some contact info. That is how I was able to contact the ASBS. I am sure that the good Doc is in good standing with these bodies, but since your PCP asked, I would research the situation as requested. -Ginny I. mgb: 3/1/00 348/274.5 > My supporting physician suggested I check to see that Dr. Rutledge is > a member in good standing with the North Carolina Medical Society and > the North Carolina licensing board.
