synergistic effects noted with organophosphate insecticides

Hi all,

I'm attaching a recent article that tested a mixture of five common

organophosphate insecticides to see if their effects were additive or

synergistic. The study showed that at the lower dose levels, especially,

the effects were synergistic (i.e., more than additive). This bad news

for farmworkers who are often exposed to mixtures of OPs, like those

tested here.
