Guest guest
Susie, not everyone vomits. It only happened to me once, and I had PLENTY of warning. I drank too much water, too fast. I was in the bathroom a few minutes before it came back up. I have not vomited any other time, although occasionally I think it would have helped! Don't worry, you'll be fine. Amy. Re: Digest Number 1629 Dear le and all post ops, Since I am going in to do my dance on the 12th, I think it's a good time to ask this question. Do you actually vomit wiithout any warning? Oh that could be embarrasing. Will that always be the case or does that go away in good time? Anxiously awaiting your answers. Please email me direct. Thanks, Susie Gordon
Guest guest
Hey guys, I have vomited, if I eat to fast or any rice or anything gooey just come back up. It's not dramatic it just say nope not staying down and comes up. I am one of the unfortunate ones that anything dry stops between my breast and I choke or take a small sip and IM fine. How ever if I drink I don't eat that much because I get full from drinking too. I get full on broth. I just get full on anything unless I nibble. Don't nibble! But eat slow. And not everyone can fit into the canned speech. Jst my 2 cents Trisha~~~~~~really trying to be good
Guest guest
--- Susie I dont vomit either NEver have and i guzzle my drinks, But Susie, I m usually the exception in all/most cases..... I was never a puker,,,,, I dont know why some do and others dont but you will know when it's your time, in some instances I wish I would (eating too fast/much..dont know which but its) but you get an unpleasant feeling that sits on top of your esophugus/diaphram. So dont worry......you will become very aware of your new tummy in due time . Lori exceptionIn MiniGastricBypass (AT) egroups (DOT) com, Amy Poe <amyp@o...> wrote: > Susie, not everyone vomits. Guest guest
Susie, I have never vomited (1 month post-op) but have thought that I would about 5 or 6 times. Tor me it is usually from overeating. I will have the feeling that I am getting full and then WHAM I am too full. It happens very quickly. All my life it has been...getting full.... more food still there eat the rest of it and feel very full. Now when I get the feeling of fullness I best not try to eat another bite. I will start to salivate and feel queasy I have run to the BR on several occassions but nothing has happened. I just feel miserable. It is a learning process. Good Luck.
