Guest guest
Re: Airplane seats, etc. I just flew this past week to New Mexico from Atlanta for my birthdaughter's wedding, which was great, by the way! I am 5'7 " and 298 lb. and the standard seats were tight, but do-able; I did ask for a seat belt extender and, both ways, the attendants were very nice and as discreet as possible. The smaller, commuter flights between Albuquerque and Roswell (16 seaters, I think) were much tighter, but I managed to fit and they were very nice about extenders, also. I flew Delta & Mesa (commuter plane). My new insurance went into effect today, Blue Choice Option, and I saw a Physician Assistant today and met the Dr, who (or is it, whom??) I chose as my PCP. (That's why I " know " how much I weigh.) They referred me to a vascular specialist because of my diabetic foot ulcer. I see her next Thursday and the PCP on 8/17. I've never had a woman Dr. before; it should be interesting! Has anyone ever moved during the approval process? I had my Dr.'s OK in IL and my old ( & Cobra) ins. OK, but now I'm in GA with a new job, new insurance, & new Dr. What do I have to do? Just submit my new insurance info or start all over?? My Dr. in IL had recommended gastric bypass surgery & supported me fully. I do have all my medical records. I wonder how long I will need to see this Dr. before asking her for an OK. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks a lot. P. in GA Re: Airlines Seats > There is no weight limit on commercial flights but the seats are not very > wide.
