Insurance HELP !!!!!

I had the MGB surgery on June 9th and today got a statement from my Blue

Cross BS of Florida saying that this surgery isn't covered. I have in my hand

a letter stating according to procedure code 43846 that I was covered I call

them and they said it was covered, I spoke to another girl that has the same

insurance as I and she was covered by the same code. Anybody else have this

happen. IM freaking out. IM waiting to call Monday cause IM leaving on

vacation tomorrow and I have real bad PMS because IM off hormones and I don;t

want to say things I need not say.

Wow that just goes to show everyone what a pain in the royal caboose the

insurance companies can be. They WILL pay for your surgery since you have

proof of the other MGB'er. Congratulations on that. Were you self-pay?? If

they still say no I would contact a lawyer. You have a case to fight this.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. Good Luck and may God be with you every

hi mary...this is from mary..lol....i hope you got that insurance

mess worked out because i also have bcbs in colo. my approval letter

also states that cpt procedure 43486 is an approved procedure. let

me know how if you have heard from bcbs. i am scheduling my date

with doc for july 26th...so...any news about this would be great!! i

hope you are doing great and i would love hear from you ....if you

have any tips for me pleeeeeeaaaaaaasssseeeeeee let me know!! i wanna
