hi gwen...well, i am not sure at this point. I really love drinking

tea, maybe i will just do the black tea and weaken it, i am prone to

getting headaches from caffeine, but i know that there would be the

tiniest bit in weakened black tea...don't know what to say about the

teas you drink. I guess from what i have gotten from the websites and

other people so far is to be really strict with the diet, so i guess

that is what i am going to have to do. I hope the diet goes well for

you!!!

After reading about the problems with decaffeinated tea awhile back, I started

searching for decaf organic but I have had trouble finding it, even in health

food stores. Then I stumbled on something Weil wrote. You can decaf your

own caffeine tea by steeping the tea bag for 45 seconds and then dumping out the

tea and start over using the same tea bag. The details are here:

That way I can buy organic black tea and take out the caffeine myself. (Or at

least 80% of the caffeine; which may be comparable to decaf tea which also has

some caffiene.)

Hope that helps,
