Actually, if you are sending email through your web browser by

logging directly into the egroup (like I do on lunch at work), you

only get one " reply " link. Then you need to remember to change

the " To: " field to send to the group.

Replying at home using Microsoft Outlook, you get the " reply to

sender " or " reply to all " options. And of course Outlook saves a

copy of what you sent.

All my other egroups default to " reply to group " . The problem is

that if you reply through your web browser, you don't have the option

of cc:ing yourself. You lose the email when you send it. So if you

accidently reply to the sender, you have no way of going back to

resend it to the group.

I've lost more than one email this way. I vote for the default of

reply to the group.
