Guest guest
Hi there, I was wondering if anyone can help me out with replacements for baking soda and eggs? Anyone had any luck with this? I want to make muffins, but just found out my son cannot have these. Thanks, Darci
Guest guest
Darci, I hope you don't mind my asking, but why can he not have eggs or baking soda? The only other subsitute I know of is on pecanbread.com in the Egg Substitute section. It uses gelatin. There are some egg free recipes on the website as well. If you don't use baking soda in them, they will not rise very much, but they might still taste okay. Maybe you could cut one recipe in half or in quarters and try it. That way if it doesn't turn out, you won't have used too many ingredients. Jody mom to -7 and -9 SCD 1/
