Guest guest
Hi guys Yes, , I just got my copy of the insurance letter from Dr. R's office today too. After reading that, it's a wonder I'm still living! sheesh! Wording is everything. Good luck on your approval. , I love the spy story. If I were closer to Durham, I might have considered that. :-) Sandy - howdy neighbor! You live in pretty country. I know what you mean about watching your relatives live with the consequences of obesity. My mom died from complications from dialysis, made necessary by kidney failure from diabetes. My grandfathers on both sides died from heart attacks. Diabetes on both sides. It's a time bomb. No way, ! Thanks for the encouragement. I'll be emailing you. Dr. Bill...I LOVE rotel and cheese dip! Ever tried it with hamburger and sausage?? (sorry, post-ops :-/ ) Gotta couple of questions to field: Can anyone tell me where the clinic will be on Tuesday? We'll be coming in Monday night. Also, regarding medical records. The to do list says to bypass the minor stuff. I'm a healthy specimen, other than coborbidities. I've only been hospitalized once since I had my kids 10 and 12 years ago. Do I need to request the hospital records? It was for pancreatitis. No problems since. Any insight would be helpful. Man I wish I was looking at a surgery date! It's so hard not to get impatient with the process. But I appreciate the process, just wanna be postop, like everyone else! ebbieday (Debbie in VA)
Guest guest
Hi everyone, My name is Kendra and I am new to the group. I have been overweight most of my life and ready for a change. Gosh, I think I have tried every diet known to man with no success. I am awaiting approval from my insurance company and getting impatient, how long does this process usually take? I have never had any type of surgical procedure, so I am a little nervous about the whole thing but excited that there may still be some hope for me yet. For the ones who are postop, did you have any complications, has your hair came out any (one of my worries-besides postop compilcations). I am 29 years old so another concern is if later I would want to have a baby and the difficulty of this, anyone had a baby since their surgery or pregnant now. Gosh I could ratlle on for ever but I give it a break...any words of wisdom would be greatful...thanks Kendra
